How Kano Doctor, Three Siblings Were Abducted

In the wake of kidnappings in the country, a medical personnel with the Aminu Kano Teaching hospital, AKTH, Dr. Bashir Zubayr has been kidnapped.

The personnel, a consultant was abducted along Lokoja-Okene federal highway with his two younger brothers and sister at Irepeni 20km West of Lokoja today, Wednesday afternoon.

According to The Nation, family sources confirmed the medical doctor and his siblings were on their way to Okene for the 40^th day Fidau of their late mother.

While disclosing that Zubayrs car was sighted at Irepeni, the family confirmed the doors of the vehicle were left ajar.
