How ‘Zebrudaya’ Dragged Me Into Nollywood-Patience Ozokwor

Nollywood Actress Patience Ozokwor has explained how she joined the industry through the assistance of Chika Okpala popularly know as ‘Chief Zebrudaya’ and Pete Eneh.

Ozokwor came into limelight in 1998 and became famous in 1999 after starring in a movie, titled ‘Authority’.

Popularly known as Mama G, she took to her official Instagram page to reveal the story of her early life as a Nollywood actress, stating how she was dragged into acting by her friends.

In a throwback post she made showing a younger picture of herself, she went down the memory lane saying, ” I was introduced to Nollywood by chief Zebrudaya (Chika Okpala) and Pete Eneh (may God continue to rest his soul).

“They were my class mates in ESUT (Enugu State University of Technology) mature university program. They couldn’t believe how much I made them laugh everyday in class. They practically dragged me into Nollywood. Before then I was doing radio drama and stage play”.

The iconic actress, first made it into radio drama before she started acting. She took part in a soap opera by the Nigerian Television Authority titled ‘Someone Cares.’
