I Feel Very Much At Home In PDP – Saraki

Senate President Bukola Saraki says he “feels very much at home” in the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP).

Saraki expressed his delight in returning to the PDP in a tweet via his official Twitter handle, on Thursday.

Earlier today, the senate president attended the 81st National Executive Committee (NEC) Meeting of the PDP.

The meeting was put together by the national leadership of the party to welcome Saraki and other defectors from the APC.

Saraki upon his arrival at the PDP national secretariat was welcomed by the PDP National Chairman, Mr Uche Secondus, the Governor of Benue State, Dr. Samuel Ortom, the Governor of Sokoto State Aminu Waziri Tambuwal, Senator Dino Melaye and a host of many other PDP cheiftains.

Recall that the Senate President had on Tuesday announced his defection from the ruling All Progressive Congress to the PDP.

His announcement came few days after about 50 lawmakers from the Senate and House of Representatives defected from the ruling party, with about 95 percent pitching tent with the main opposition Peoples Democratic Party, PDP.

“Great to be back in Wadata House for the 81st National Executive Committee meeting of the People’s Democratic Party (PDP). I feel very much at home,” he wrote
