Iheanacho Wins CNN Goal Of The Week

Nigerian international Kelechi Iheanacho has picked up the CNN Goal of the week award for his sensational strike against Tanzania in the 2017 Africa Cup of Nations tie last Saturday.
The 19-year-old scored a screamer for the Super Eagles which helped them beat the Taifa Stars 1-0 at Godswill Akpabio International Stadium.
He powered home a sublime left foot finish from the edge of the box in the 78th minute beating everyone to hit the roof of the net.

The Manchester City striker won 65 percent of the votes beating Jonathan Kodjia (17%) – who netted a sweet bicycle-kick in Ivory Coast’s 1-1 draw against Sierra Leone to second place.
Real Madrid B player, Sergio Diaz came in third with 11% after he scored his third goal of the season with a spectacular strike from the center-circle in the 3-2 win over Amorebieta at the Alfredo di Stefano Stadium.
Iheanacho is expected to feature for Manchester City when they travel to Old Trafford to take on Manchester United in the first Manchester Derby of the season on Saturday.
