I’ve Never Been Charged For Corruption – Atiku

The presidential candidate of the Peoples Democratic Party [PDP] Atiku Abubakar has said he has never been charged for corruption.

Atiku, in a brief interview with CNN, further said the allegation of corruption leveled against him have not stood test of time.

“They have not stood the test of time, there is no public officer that is not accused of corruption,” Atiku said.

He challenged anyone who has evidence against him to come forward to and prosecute him.

“I have been successful, I have never been charged, I have never been indicted, they are all allegations. I have asked anybody, I have dared people publicly, that if anybody has any evidence of corruption against me, let him come out,” Atiku said.

When ask if he was corrupt, he said, “I’m not, certainly not, because if I am corrupt, I would have been either charged or indicted”.
