One Mohammad Deedee has pleaded with former president Goodluck Jonathan for forgiveness after the naira crashed to a historic low of N500 to the dollar.
Deedee, who conveyed his apologies via his Twitter handle, @deee009, on 20th November, 2014, mocked Jonathan’s transformation agenda after the Naira fell to N180 to the dollar and N280 to the pound.
However, in a tweet to Senator representing Bayelsa central, Ben Murray-Bruce, Mohammad urged the common sense senator to plead with Jonathan on his behalf for forgiveness.
According to Deedee, the turn of events showed that Jonathan was a true definition of the word “hero”, who deserved to be praised.
He further said that Jonathan should be brought back to power so as to bring the country back to its flourishing state.
In his response, Ben Bruce said he had contacted ex-president Jonathan who reportedly replied, saying Mohammad was forgiven, adding that he never bore a grudge against him.
