JUST IN: China Retaliates, Takes Over U.S. Embassy In Chengdu

The Trump administration had accused China of providing a safe haven for criminal hackers who stole its intellectual property.

But Beijing  debunked the allegations, adding that breaking into its embassy in the U.S. amounted to violation of the Vienna Convention on Consular Relations, also vowing retaliation.

Hua Chunying, China’s Foreign Affairs Spokesperson, confirmed that the U.S. embassy in like manner had been taken over.

“At 10 am July 27, as required by the Chinese side, the #US Consulate General in Chengdu was closed.

“China’s competent authorities then entered through the front entrance and took over the premises,” she tweeted on Monday.

Analysts argue that the China-U.S. rift points towards world supremacy.

Last week, U.S. secretary General, Mike Pompeo , stressed that the world should unite against the influence of China’s Communist Party(CCP).

“The only way to truly change Communist China is to act on the basis of what its leaders do, not what they say.

“President Reagan dealt with the Soviets on the basis of “trust but verify.” When it comes to the CCP, I say, Distrust and verify,” Pompeo said at Nixon Library on Saturday.
