With the increasing number of COVID-19 cases especially in Lagos and the Federal Capital Territory (FCT), Abayomi urged all residents and visitors to strictly adhere to the recommended protocols.

The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) had reported 796 cases of the virus across the country on Friday.
