Reno Omokri, a pastor and former special assistant on new media to Goodluck Jonathan, has again taken a swipe at the President Muhammadu Buhari – led government over the economic downturn facing the country.
Omokri, who has always been a vocal critic of the All Progressives Congress (APC) administration, in a series of tweet, said that the economy has deteriorated to an extent that a N500 note is now above a 5 Ghanaian Cedi note.
He said, “Believe it or not N500 is worth just 5 Ghanian Cedis. This is where Buharinomics has brought us”
Information gathered by The Whistler reveals that a Ghanaian Cedi is presently equivalent to N80.
Believe it or not, as at today, ₦500 is worth just 5 Ghanaian Cedis. This is where Buharinomics has brought us! pic.twitter.com/3YNHKQ6sQR

On why he has continually criticized Buhari rather than provide solutions, Omokri quoted the Kaduna State Governor, Nasir El’ Rufai as saying: “it is my duty as an opposition to show GEJ gang in bad light. I thank them for making my job easy in 2012 by being so hapless”, adding that he will take his cue from him.
Here’s my response to those asking me to provide solutions to PMB instead of criticizing him https://t.co/MmR3oO2Pdj pic.twitter.com/uxT49AXyUR

Look at the same man who promised to take responsibility! No wonder we are going through our worst economic crisis! pic.twitter.com/x9I5OIuGLO
