MASSOB Founder, Uwazuruike Masterminded My Son’s Arrest, Nnamdi Kanu’s Father Reveals

Eze Israel Kanu, father of the leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra, IPOB, Nnamdi Kanu, has accused founder of Movement for the Actualization of Sovereign State of Biafra, MASSOB, Ralph Uwazuruike, of masterminding his son’s arrest and being responsible for his continued detention.
Kanu, who made the allegation while addressing journalists in his Afaraukwu Ibeku, Umuahia Palace, said his son never committed any crime in the country.
He, therefore, called on the Nigerian Government to release his Kanu as he had been incarcerated since 2015.

“Uwazurike was irked because his son raised alarm over huge monies he collected for the well-being of helpless Biafran youths which was misused.
“Uwazuruike masterminded the arrest of Kanu,” who doubles as the Director of Radio Biafra upon his arrival in Nigeria,” he said.
The IPOB leader is currently standing trial before Justice Binta Nyako of a Federal High Court sitting in Abuja for charges bothering on terrorism.
