My Administration Second To None In Repositioning Katsina Civil Service – Masari

Katisna State governor, Rt. Hon. Aminu Bello Masari, says his government’s commitment to better the state’s civil service is second to none.

Masari made the disclosure while witnessing the oath taking by the new head of civil service of the state Alh Idris Usman Tune at the Katsina State Government, on Wednesday.

“No civilian government can compete with the current administration in the area of repositioning the state own civil service for effective service delivery,” the governor was quoted as saying by Ibrahim Abdullah, Director General of Katsina Media and Publicity.

Masari further dismissed allegations, as first perceived, that his government will sack appointees of the immediate past administration.

“We treat people based on the information available to us. Ours is service to the people of Katsina irrespective of political party as we shall all account before Allah (S. W. T.) on all our deeds,” he said.

“We have done so much with all sense of humility more than any civilian government since the creation of Katsina in training and retraining the state civil servants having known their value and significant to state development.

“We give opportunities to those coming behind, so as to have a sustainably developed katsina state. we traine and retraine so as to have a repositioned and more result oriented public service.”

According to the state media, since the creation of Katsina state, there has never been any civilian government that accorded required concern as backlogs of promotion to civil servants across the state were settled, recruitments and prompt payments of salaries.
