Nasarawa Utd Players Get Cash And Land Gift From Governor

Nasarawa State governor, Tanko Al-Makura has rewarded players and officials of Nasarawa United Football Club with cash gifts and landed properties, for their outstanding performance at the just concluded Federation Cup.

The Solid Miners were narrowly beaten in Sunday’s final by FC Ifeanyi Ubah, at the Teslim Balogun Stadium Lagos, after reaching the Cup Finals for the first time.

The Anambra based side emerged victorious after winning 5-4 in penalties.

Governor Al-Makura announced the donation at a brief ceremony held in honour of the team at the state’s capital, Lafia on Tuesday night.

Each player received N200, 000 each, while the club chairman, Isaac Dalandi, and coach Kabiru Dogo got N500, 000 and N400, 000 respectively. All the members of the team were given a plot of land each.
