Nigerian Army Captures Boko Haram Commander, Rescues 212 Victims

No less than 212 persons were on Tuesday rescued and a Boko Haram commander captured when Nigerian soldiers ransacked some villages in the outer edge of Sambisa forest.

Army spokesperson, Col. Sani Usman, gave the name of the Boko Haram commander captured as Amman Judee, otherwise known as “Ameer” of Chawa.

Col. Usman revealed also that the soldiers killed four insurgents during the raid.

He added that the 212 victims rescued are currently being profiled while the Boko Haram commander was being interrogated.
