Omokri Says ‘Mother Of All Protest’ Awaits Buhari In London

Former aide to ex-president Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, has threatened to stage protest in London if President Muhammadu Buhari stays in the United Kingdom beyond July 9.

THE WHISTLER reported that Buhari’s spokeperson , Femi Adesina, disclosed that the president will on Friday travel to London for a medical appointment that would end by the second week of July.

But Omokri, who frequently criticizes the Buhari administration, alleged that Buhari had failed to upgrade Nigeria’s health sector, which is why he travels abroad for medical check-up.

He vowed to gather people in London to press home their demand for a better health system for Nigerians.

“I am putting you on notice. Your just announced planned trip to London to see your doctors next week is one trip too many. You have refused to build hospitals for Nigerians, and if by July 10, you are still in London, then prepare for the Mother of All #HarassBuhariOutofLondon.

“You have had six years to develop the hearth sector. If you can spend $1.9 billion of Nigeria’s money to build a railway in Niger Republic, then you could have built hospitals to cater to your health and the health of Nigerians,” he stated on Facebook.

However, Adesina had explained that the president’s trip was a “scheduled medical follow-up.”
