Ondo Fixes August 22 For Local Govt Poll
Ondo State Independent Electoral Commission has fixed August 22 for the conduct of local government election in the state.
The Chairman of OSIEC, Yomi Dinakin, said this in Akure on Tuesday.

The electoral commission chairman said publication of notice of poll would be done between Tuesday 28th to Thursday 30th July.

He added that training of adhoc staff will hold from Tuesday, 11th to 14th August, while submission of names of party agents would be from 10th to 13th August.
Dinakin said pasting of list of adhoc staff in local government areas would hold from from 17th to 19th August.
The OSiEC chairman said political party activities would end by 11.59pm on 20th August, while election would hold on Saturday, 22nd August.
