Ondo: Olugbo Congratulates Akeredolu, Predicts Victory In Governorship Poll

The Olugbo of Igbo Kingdom, Oba Obateru Akinruntan, has congratulated the Ondo State Governor, Rotimi Akeredolu, on his victory at the All Progressives Congress governorship primary election.

Akeredolu was declared the winner by the Kogi State Governor, Yahaya Bello, who is the chairman of the APC Governorship Primary Election Commitree on Monday.

He defeated Chief Olusola Oke; Isaacs Kekemeke and other aspirants to.emerge the winner of the primary poll.

Oba Akinruntan, who is the chairman of Ondo State Council of Traditional Rulers took to his Twitter handle on Tuesday to congratulate the governor on his victory .

The monarch, who obviously has in mind the October 10 governorship election in the state, also predicted a grand celebration for Akeredolu.

He also congratulated the governor on his birthday which comes up on July 21.

The tweet read, ” Happy birthday to the people’s Governor @RotimiAkeredolu.
