PHOTOS: Buhari’s New Chief Of Staff, Gambari Attends FEC Meeting
President Muhammadu Buhari’s new Chief of Staff, Ibrahim Gambari, on Wednesday, attended the weekly meeting of the Federal Executive Council (FEC) at the State House, Abuja.
President Buhari presided over the FEC meeting.

The Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF), Boss Mustapha, announced Gambari’s appointment before the commencement of the FEC meeting.
Gambari, a former Minister of Foreign Affairs, was appointed to replace Abba Kyari who recently died from Coronavirus (COVID-19).
He had served as foreign minister during Buhari’s military regime as Head of State.

The native of Ilorin in Kwara State served as Joint African Union-United Nations Special Representative for Darfur in 2010.
Gambari had also served as Under-Secretary General of the United Nation for the Department of Political Affairs (DPA), among other top positions.
