PHOTOS: Nnamdi Kanu In High Spirits, Dons White Fendi Suit To Court

The leader of the Indigenous People of Biafra (IPOB), Nnamdi Kanu, on Thursday appeared before the Federal High Court in Abuja donning a white coloured Fendi tracksuit.

The IPOB leader appeared to be in high spirits and looks better physically than how he looked when the Federal Government announced his extradition to the country.

THE WHISTLER had reported that Kanu looked frail and appeared to have lost some weight after he was extradited to the country in June.

Photos of his extradition shared with this newspaper on June 29 showed that the IPOB leader was putting on a carton coloured Fendi tracksuit.

The Attorney General of the Federation and Minister of Justice, Abubakar Malami, had in July said that Kanu was facing charges bordering on “terrorism, treason, running an illegal company, publishing defamatory material and illegal possession of firearms.”

Earlier this week, the government filed amended seven-count terrorism charges against the IPOB leader as against the five counts it earlier preferred against him.
