Pinnick ‘On The Run’ As ICPC Seals Lagos Residence

Hours after sealing the Abuja residence of the Nigerian Football Federation’s second Vice-President, Shehu Dikko, the Independent Corrupt Practices Commission (ICPC) has gone ahead to seal off the Lagos residence of Amaju Pinnick, President of the football body.

Operatives of the ICPC were said have sealed the top NNF officials’ residences over allegations of corruption.

Pinnick’s residence sealed by the anti-graft agency is located inside Parkview Estate in Ikoyi , Lagos, while Dikko’s residence situated in Maitama, Abuja, was also sealed earlier.

The duo, alongside other top NFF officials, are said to be under investigation for allegedly diverting FIFA grants running into billions of naira. They are also said be on the run for fear of possible arrest.

The officials are expected to appear before a Federal High Court in Abuja on September 26, 2019, over the allegation.
