According to a witness, who identified himself as Saleh, the abductors surrounded and invaded the clergy’s residence with sophisticated weapons.

Saleh said they gained access to his apartment by scaling through the fence while others positioned themselves outside his residence.

Saleh disclosed that the abductors shot sporadically in the air to scare neighbours as they whisked away the clergyman away through the bush at gunpoint.

“In fact, the entire community was terrified as a result of sporadic gunshot by the Kidnappers. As nobody was able to come outside because some of the Kidnappers have surrounded the house while others entered the house through the fence,” he said.
