Police Kill Abuja Notorious Bandit, Injure Others In Gun Attack

The Nigeria Police Force has again busted a notorious bandit’s den, killing its gang leader, Isa Dei-Dei, on Monday.

The police disclosed the information in a statement, signed by the Police Force spokesperson, Muyiwa Adejobi, on Wednesday.

The operatives of the Department of Force Intelligence Tactical Teams (DFI-IRT) on the heels of intelligence invaded the hideout located in the suburbs of the Federal Capital Territory

“Upon closing in on them, they sighted the police and fled.

“The operatives immediately went after them, which led to a fierce gun duel.

“In the process, the notorious Isa Dei-Dei was neutralized while other members of the syndicate managed to escape with gunshot injuries.

“We therefore urge members of the public, most especially medical practitioners, to call our attention to anyone or patients seen with gunshot wounds for further investigation,” the police said.

Recall that the operatives of the FCT Command had identified a kidnapper’s hideout in Bassa village, arresting the syndicate, including two women.

The FCT Police Commissioner, Benneth Igwe, upon his appointment, had issued warnings to criminals to vacate the capital territory or risk being arrested.
