PSG Foreword Kylian Mbappe Tested For Coronavirus

Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) forward, Kylian Mbappe, has tested negative for Coronavirus (COVID-19).

Mbappe had taken the necessary test ahead of PSG’s clash with Borussia Dortmund in the second leg of the Champions League round-of-16.

The French football star was said to have earlier complained of sore throat and temperature and had missed training for two days, thereby prompting the test.

Coach Thomas Tuchel, however, said Mbappe would still be assessed before Wednesday’s match against Dortmund.

Meanwhile, fans would not be allowed to have a live view of Thursday’s first leg of Manchester United’s Europa League match against LASK as it had been scheduled to hold behind closed doors over Coronavirus fears.

Similarly, Chelsea’s Champions League last-16 clash with Bayern Munich which has been slated for next Wednesday would also hold behind closed doors.
