R. Kelly Knows Fate May 4 As Court Finds Him Guilty Of Sexual Abuse

Having found him guilty of sexual crimes against women and girls, the United States court has reportedly fixed May 4 to decide the sentencing of global music star, Robert Kelly.

Prosecutors had presented eleven witnesses who all testified against him and revealed how Kelly used his status to take sexual advantage of those around him.

He was charged on eight- counts on sex-related offenses including that of subjecting his victims to do his bidding.

Reacting to the verdict on Monday, prosecuting counsel, Jacquelyn Kasulis, assured Americans that no matter how powerful they are when they commit crime, “the long arm of the law will catch up with you.”

BBC reports that while the case was ongoing, Kelly’s supporters were pleading for the music star to be given another chance to do things right.

Kelly’s trial has lasted for more than a decade including a separate trial on alleged child pornography.
