Saraki Sacks 98 Aides

Senate President Bukola Saraki, on Thursday, sacked no fewer than 98 of his personal assistants.

According to TheCable, an aide to Saraki said both the director of protocol, Arthur Ndiwe; and the head of administration, Folashade Adigun, were among those affected.

However, special adviser on media to the senate president, Yusuph Olaniyonu said he was not aware of the mass sack.

“I am not aware of any sack. I am still at work,” he said.

It was learnt that the sack letters were issued through the office of the Chief of staff, Hakeem Baba-Ahmed.

It was also learnt that with the mass sack, Saraki’s aides have been reduced from over 300 to a little above 200.
