Schweinsteiger In Tears As He Plays Final Game For Germany

German football legend, Bastian Schweinsteiger was honoured by his country on Wednesday night as he played his final game for the nation.

The Manchester United midfielder was brought to tears as he was honored by the German FA and cheered by over 30,121 fans at the Borussia Park.

The former Bayern Munich player won his 121st and final cap for Germany in last night’s friendly versus Finland, bringing to an end his 12-year international career, which culminated in him winning the World Cup in 2014.

In the game, Germany beat Finland 2-0, thanks to goals from Maximilian Meyer and Paulus Arajuuri.
