Solskajaer Secures Job As Manchester United Thrash Tottenham

Manchester United have defeated Tottenham Hotspur 3:0 to secure Ole Gunnar Solskajaer’s job at Old Trafford.

Cristiano Ronaldo on Saturday opened the score sheet with an assist from his countryman, Bruno Fernandes in the 39th minute of play.

Ronaldo delivered another intriguing assist which was converted by Edinson Cavani in the 64th minute of the second half.

Marcus Rashford sealed the embattled team’s victory with an 86th minute goal making the score sheet 3:0.

The victory at Tottenham Hotspur Stadium was a must to enable Solskjaer remain as United head coach.

On October 24, Liverpool trashed United 5:0 at Old Trafford leading to a massive campaign for the sack of Solskjaer.

Fans had trended the campaign with the #Oleout. The campaign was divided as some also trended the #Olein.

The shameful defeat led to an emergency United board meeting which lasted for hours.

But some board members backed by former coach Sir Alex Ferguson intervened and helped secure a second chance for the Norwegian.
