“They kept us inside mosquito-infested cells run by #SARS in Abuja, after that they sent us to Kuje prison and later another dingy police cell operated by the FCIID, today we’ve been granted bail on discriminatory and harsh conditions,” he tweeted.

Channels Television reports that the court granted Sowore N20million bail while others arraigned with him were told to pay 1 million naira each.

Chief Magistrate Mabel Segun-Bello, also ruled that they must provide sureties and he limited Sowore’s movement to Abuja.

THE WHISTLER earlier reported that Sowore had alleged that he sustained a broken nose in his face-off with operatives of the Nigeria Police Force.
