1,272 Students Fail Nigerian Law School Bar Exam

A stunning 1,272 Students of the Nigerian Law School have failed the Bar final examination that held in August.

The Head of Information and Protocol, Nigerian Law School, Chinedu Ukekwe, made this known in a statement.

The results were released late Friday.

Ukekwe said out of 5, 891 students that sat for the examinations, 4, 285 scaled through, while 1, 272 failed.

He revealed that 29 students made First Class, 211 earned Second Class (Upper Division); 1, 046 made Second Class (Lower Division), 2, 999 made Pass, while 334 finished with Conditional Pass.

Candidates that failed the examinations accounted for 21.6 per cent.

Those with Conditional Pass represented 5.7 per cent and those with Pass, 72.7 per cent.

The Call to Bar Ceremony for the successful candidates has been slated for November 28 and 29, in Abuja.
