Ex-Aviation Minister, Femi Fani-Kayode has slammed Vice President Yemi Osinbajo for saying “there is no $25 billion missing” in the Nigeria National Petroleum Corporation (NNPC).
Osinbajo had through his media aide, Laolu Akande, refuted the widely reported alleged $25 billion contract fraud in the NNPC.
“You can then see from the foregoing that the $25BN being bandied in the media does not exist. There is no $25BN missing,” the Vice President had said.
But reacting to Osinbajo’s claim, Fani-Kayode described the Vice President’s statement as a “baseless lie”.
The former minister went further to say Osinbajo “has sold his soul to the devil for a pittance”.
Fani-Kayode tweeted: “The assertion by @ProfOsinbajo that $25 billion USD has not gone missing and that the allegation is baseless is a lie.
“With this it is clear that our Vice President has joined the league of cheap hustlers and monumental liars. He has sold his soul to the devil for a pittance.”
