Fresh Bomb Blast In Maiduguri Leaves One Dead, 37 Injured

One person has been confirmed dead, and 37 others injured in a fresh suicide bomb blast in Benisheikh, Borno State.
Confirming the incident on Monday, authorities of the General Hospital in Maiduguri said that all casualties were currently receiving treatment while an unidentified corpse has been deposited at the mortuary.

It was learnt that an unspecified number of persons have been reportedly killed in the incidence which villagers opted to bury.

Although no group has claimed responsibility for the attack, the Boko Haram sect is largely suspected, as the terrorist group has carried out similar attack in the past.
