Hours after ex-militant leader, Chief Government Ekpemupolo, raised alarm of plans to bomb oil installations by people allied to the government to frame him up, multiple explosions have rocked oil installations in Ikpokpo and Odidi flow stations in Delta State.

It was gathered that the attacks started shortly before midnight and lasted till the early hours of Friday.
The communities in Gbaramatu Kingdom, home of Tompolo, have seen the people fleeing their homes in fear of clampdown by the Nigerian military.

On Thursday, a Federal High Court in Lagos ordered security operatives to arrest Tompolo, over allegations of fraud and money laundry by the Economic and Financial Crimes Commission (EFCC).
