Supreme Court Stands Down Judgement On Imo Governorship Election

Judgement in the suit challenging the election of Imo State Governor, Emeka Ihedioha has been stood down by the Supreme Court.

The decision of the apex court took place on Tuesday while hearing the appeal filed by the candidate of the All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) in the March 9th guber polls,  Senator Ifeanyi Ararume.

Ararume filed the appeal to challenge Governor Ihedioha after he lost at the Imo State Governorship Election Tribunal and Court of Appeal.

The Chief Justice of Nigeria, Justice Tanko Muhammad, chaired a seven-man panel of justices that presided over the hearing of the appeal.
