The Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) has banned Super Eagles Team B Coach Salisu Yusuf for one year and fined him US$5000. Super Eagles team B coach, Salisu Yusuf, has been filmed taking bribe from undercover journalists spare headed by controversial Ghanaian investigative journalist Anas Aremeyaw Anas, who pretended to be football agents. In a video posted by BBC, Salisu, who has been Gernot Rohr's assistant since 2016, received $1000 cash from the undercovers to influence his team selection. CAF Suspends Gabon, Djibouti From 2020 CHAN

Africa’s football governing body CAF have banned Gabon and Djibouti from taking part in the qualifying match for the 2020 African Nations Championship (CHAN). The African football apex body, took the decision at a meeting on Wednesday in Morocco, who are hosting the 2018 CHAN, ahead of the draw for the tournament on 17 November. Africa’s soccer ruling body, the Confederation of African Football (CAF) has confirmed that Equatorial Guinea, Ethiopia and Morocco have bidded for the hosting rights of the 2018 Africa Nations Championship (CHAN).
