US Poll: Trump, Biden Both See Victory But Disagree On ‘Legal Votes’

President of the United States Donald Trump has claimed he won the legal votes at the presidential election on November 3.

He made this known in a press briefing from the White House on Friday.

He also alleged that the mail-in ballots that have not been used before in the country’s general election was a disaster, adding that he had speculated it some months ago.

He also claimed that his party had enough evidence to show that the mail-in ballots were designed to capture former vice president Joe Biden’s name.

His words:

” I challenge Joe and every Democrat to clarify that they only won legal votes because they talk about votes and I think they should use the word ‘legal’.

“We want every legal votes counted, we want openness and transparency, no secret count rooms, no mystery ballots, illegal votes being cast after Election Day.

“You have an Election Day and the laws are very strong on that and they want the process to be an honest one…

“That’s the way this country is going to win, and we think we are going to win this election, we think there’s gonna be a lot of litigations because we have so much evidence, so much proof and it’s going to end up at the highest court in the land because we can’t have an election stolen.

I’ve been talking about this many months with all of you, I’ve said very strongly that mail-in ballots is gonna be a disaster, small elections were a disasters and this is a large scale version and it’s getting worse and worse.”

But, Joe Biden had in an earlier press briefing, claimed that the election was free and fair.

He said nothing else but the voters would determine their next president.

“In America, the vote is sacred, it’s how people of this nation express their will and it is the will of the voters, no one, not anything else that chooses the president of the United States of America.

“So, each ballot must be counted and that’s what we are going to see going through now and that’s how it should be, democracy is sometimes messy and it sometimes requires a little patience as well.

“But, that patience has been rewarded now for 240 years, a system of governance that has been the envy of the world.

“And we continue to feel very good about where things stand, we have no doubt that when the count is finish, Senator Harris and I would be declared the winners.

“So I ask everyone to stay clam, the process is working, the count is being completed and we will know very soon.

“We’ve got to count the votes, God bless you all and may God protect our troops,” he said.

In another development, Michael Link, an official of the Organization for Security and Co-operation in Europe, heading an international observer mission to the US elections, had claimed that Trump’s allegations were baseless.

“The most disturbing thing was that with presidential fanfare of the White House, that is, with all the insignia of power, the American commander-in-chief called for an end to the count because of his purported victory.

“That was a gross abuse of office…claims of manipulation are baseless,” he said on Thursday.
