What You Must Know About Super Eagles Match Against Angola

The Super Eagles of Nigeria will take on Angola in the quarter-finals of the 2023 Africa Cup of Nations on Friday evening.

The Super Eagles medical staff are struggling to get goalkeeper, Stanley Nwabali fit for the encounter after he limped out of the Cameroon game.

He took part of the team’s training on Tuesday and Jose Peseiro confirmed on Thursday that he will undergo a late fitness test on Friday to determine if he will be able to feature in the game.

Stand-in captain, William Troost-Ekong missed out of training on Monday and Tuesday but he is expected to be fit to start against Angola.

Angola have no fitness worries but they will be without the suspension of Neblu, who was sent off against Namibia.
