372 Stranded Nigerians Arrive Abuja From Saudi Arabia

No fewer than 372 stranded Nigerians arrived the country from Saudi Arabia on Tuesday, according to the Nigerians in Diaspora Commission.

NIDCOM disclosed this in a tweet.

It added that they came into the country through a Saudi Airline.

“Saudi Airways flight arrived Nnamdi Azikiwe Int’l Airport, Abuja today, August 25th 2020, at about 2004HRS from Saudi Arabia with estimated 372 Stranded Nigerians,” it tweeted.

NIDCOM also stressed that they would all self-isolate for 14 days in line with COVID-19 evacuation protocols.

According to NIDCOM, over 6,500 Nigerian nationals have been airlifted from various countries since the coronavirus lockdown.

Meanwhile, the Federal Government had directed that international flights would resume on August 29.
