Recall that on March 21, the House of Representatives re-introduced the bill which seeks to reorder the sequence of polls during a general election.

The lawmakers had weeks back passed the bill and sent to the Executive, but President Muhammadu Buhari refused to accent on it.

The President faulted that of electoral act amendment as infringing on the powers of the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC).

But Abdulrazak Namdas, spokesman of the House, said the Green Chamber resolved to look into the bill and address the concerns raised by the President and re-introduce it for passage.
