For now, Kyari, has been suspended and is facing a probe panel set up by police authorities following a financial indictment by the United States Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI).

Meanwhile, Ejiofor quoted Justice Modupe Osho-Adebiyi of the Court as finding his client’s detention illegal while awarding cost as damage.

“The Court further directed for her immediate and unconditional release from custody, and consequently awarded exemplary and aggravated damages of N50,000,000.00 (Fifty Million Naira Only) against the Police as reparation,” he added via a Facebook post.

According to him, the Court ordered the Police to tender an unreserved apology to his client and publish the apology in two national dailies.
