The Isu Communities which includes Iheosu, Aba and Amachi all came under attack as scores of people were killed and properties destroyed by their aggressors.

“With testimonies and evidence gathered without mincing word, I wish to state that the situation on ground is alarming and very pathetic,” Nkole said in a statement on his Facebook page on Thursday.

Nkole called on President Muhammadu Buhari to “immediately direct the deployment of Armed Forces on permanent basis to the Isu beach line communities as an urgent decisive measure to stop further escalation of the crisis and to stop the ugly perennial humanitarian crisis.”

The Federal Lawmaker also urged the National Boundary Commission, NBC, to intervene in the age-long boundary crisis between the two communities by demarcating the boundaries.
