Adebayor: I Will Not Support My Country Against Coronavirus
Former Hawks of Togo captain and ex Arsenal and Manchester city forward, Emmanuel Adebayor, has said he would not help his Country Togo in its fight against Coronavirus.
The Togolese, whose net worth is estimated to be around 36 million pounds, took to social media to lash out at those calling him out to help his country.

Adebayor, in a Facebook live streaming said : “For those who say that I do not donate, let me be very clear, I really do not donate. This is very simple.
“I do what I want to do, eat the food I want, and this is the most important. Then, there will be those who criticise me for not having established a charity in Togo.
“But it seems that I brought the coronavirus to Togo. It is very unfortunate, but this is the case and what happened in the country.”
Several football legends have contributed to the fight against the Virus in their countries. Didier Drogba offered his personal hospital to the government of Ivory coast.
