Air Peace Evacuates 269 Nigerians From India
The management of the Air Peace Airline, says it has evacuated 269 Nigerians stranded in India back to the country on Saturday.
Air Peace disclosed this in a statement floated on its tweet on Saturday.

“Air Peace has airlifted 269 Nigerians citizens from India back to Nigeria.
“The flight arrived at the Nnamdi Azikiwe International Airport Abuja at 1.50hrs today, June 13, 2020, and is proceeding to the Murtala Muhammed International Airport, Lagos,” it added in the statement.
Nigeria’s Minister of Foreign Affairs, Geoffery Onyeama, had on Friday, confirmed that over 200 nationals would be coming into the country today.
Recall that the Presidential Task Force had introduced new protocols for evacuation , which included testing from the host country.

However, the tweet by AirPeace did not say whether those evacuated had gone through such screening in India as the PTF said.
