Nigeria’s First Lady, Aisha Buhari, seems to have moved on from controversy that trailed the interview she granted BBC that her husband, President Muhammadu Buhari’s government had been hijacked by some undisclosed “powers.”

Mrs. Buhari, who received backlash from critics for opening up on her husband’s political affairs in the interview, announced via her Twitter handle (@AishaMBuhari) on Tuesday that she will be giving opening remarks on “Women’s Role in Global Security”  in Brussels, Belgium.

Recall that President Muhammadu Buhari had said his wife, Aisha, belonged in his “kitchen and the other room,” in response to the BBC interview granted by the First Lady.
