The officials inaugurated were, Golden Chioma, state chairman; Mike Amakiri, deputy chairman; Inye Jack, secretary; Joy Woko, state woman leader among others according to reports obtained by THE WHISTLER.

This was coming after the emergence of a faction loyal to Minister of Transportation, Rotimi Amaechi, had been approved as the authentic State Executive of the party.

The Amaechi’s faction saw to the emergence of the minister’s political buddy, Mr. Emeka Beke as the new party chairman in the state.

Just as the congress was set to begin on Saturday, Mr Chioma, pulled out of the exercise at the instance of Abe who quickly organised those loyal to the senator for a parallel congress.

Amaechi and Abe once political ally have been at loggerheads as they try to outwit each other to control the APC in the state.

Although the proxy war continues for the worse, Amaechi and Abe have not exchanged direct words recently and have tried to use their allies and supporters to whip up sentiment and attack each other.
