APC Primaries: VON DG, Okechukwu Calls for Probe of Oshiomole

The Director-General of the Voice of Nigeria, Osita Okechukuwu, has called on the National Chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC), Mr Adams Oshiomhole to tender his resignation.

Okechukwu said the ruling All Progressive Congress, APC was in crisis because Oshiomhole believes in nobody but himself.

Describing him as a Nazis, Okechukwu who spoke on Channels Television’s Sunrise Daily, said the negative reactions trailing the recent conduct of the party’s primaries across the states of the federation is as a result of people placing personal interests over that of the party.

He said, “The little I could read on Comrade Oshiomhole is that he suffers from Nazism what in a local palace is called ‘I too know.’

“He doesn’t believe in anybody except himself. He has a fascination with himself and that is costly for the APC. So he should just resign.

“What I am saying is that the crisis on the ground could be located on preferences to kindred and cronies because if he (Oshiomhole) was genuine, the National Working Committee could have been in a place to resolve the issue.

“If there was no authoritarianism or high handedness in his governance, these people could have looked into the composition,” the senatorial aspirant for the Enugu West District said.

Okechukwu further called on Security agencies to begin investigation on Oshiomhole by checking his call logs.

“I will want, first and foremost, the call log of Comrade Adams Oshiomhole, start with the call log. The call log are there deposited in the scrolls of the providers of the phone calls. Start with them,” he said.

“A lot of people now give money in cash, so it’s difficult to trace these days, but the outcome of the Comrade whether you like him or hate him, if you place it on a scale, he failed. Why did he fail, because he is Nazistic. He believes only in himself,” he added.
