Appeal Court Reverses Self, Reconvenes On Oshiomhole’s Appeal

The Court of Appeal in Abuja has reversed its earlier postponement of hearing on the application filed by Adams Oshiomhole, challenging his suspension as the national chairman of the All Progressives Congresses (APC).

THE WHISTLER had reported that the appeal court on Monday postponed hearing on the case infinitely.

But in a twist of events hours after the adjournment, the court notified parties in the suit that it would be hearing Oshiomhole’s application at 4 p.m. on Monday.

The development came shortly after President Muhammadu Buhari and governors of the APC postponed the National Executive Committee (NEC) meeting of the ruling party scheduled for Tuesday.
