Bandits Strike Again, Kidnap Scores From Zamfara Secondary School

Suspected bandits have kidnapped an unspecified number of students from Kaya Junior Secondary School in Maradun Local Government Area (LGA) of Zamfara State. 

This came 16 days after bandits abducted over 20 students and members of staff of the College of Agriculture and Animal Sciences in the Bakura area of the state. 

Reports said the bandits broke into the school in the early hours of Wednesday and shot sporadically in the air before whisking the students away. 

Details of the incident are still sketchy and there has been no official statement from the state government as of press time.
