Ben Bruce Tells Buhari, ‘You’re Factually Incorrect On Abuja Light Rail”

The senator representing Bayelsa East, Ben Murray-Bruce, has faulted President Muhammadu Buhari claims that his administration was delivering on its promise of providing infrastructural development at the commissioning of the Abuja Light Rail project.

According to Murray-Bruce, Buhari’s claim of the project was ‘factually incorrect’ as the project was near-completion when Buhari came into office in 2015.

“NOTICE TO THE GENERAL PUBLIC. The Abuja Light Railway project today commissioned by President Muhammadu Buhari is NOT an example of the present administration’s delivering on its promises, as the President claimed today. That is factually incorrect.

“That is a project by the previous government. It was initiated by President Obasanjo and most of the work was completed by the Yar’adua and Jonathan regimes. Truth must be sacrosanct!” A statement on his Facebook page.
