BREAKING: Gunshots In Abuja As Hoodlums Storm COVID-19 Palliative Warehouse

Police officers have reportedly dispersed some hoodlums who attempted to break into a storeroom housing COVID-19 palliatives meant for distribution to residents of the Federal Capital Territory, Abuja.

The hoodlums were said to have stormed the Cyprian Ekwensi Cultural Centre at UTC, Area 10, Garki Abuja, to loot the relief materials.

The development is coming amid reports of recent looting of COVID-19 palliatives in Lagos State, Kwara State, Cross Rivers State, and Plateau State.

The security agents were said to have shot into the air to scare the hoodlums from breaking into the warehouse.
