BREAKING: UK PM, Boris Johnson, Announces National Lockdown For England, Schools Return To Remote Learning

The Prime Minister of the United kingdom, Boris Johnson has imposed a strict lockdown over England due to the rise in covid-19 cases and number of deaths.

He made this known in a televised address to the citizens on Monday night.

The prime minister asked schools to be shut while advising students to engage in remote learning for the time being.

BBC quoted him as saying that “Everyone in England must stay at home except for permitted reasons during a new coronavirus lockdown beginning at midnight.”

He added that strict compliance to health advisory will be enforced.
