Buhari Reacts To Kaduna Killings
- Approves New Military Battalion In Birnin Gwari Area
President Muhammadu Buhari has reacted to the killing which occurred in Birnin Gwari Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
THE WHISTLER recalls that armed bandits, on Saturday afternoon, attacked Gwaska village in Birnin Gwari, killing no fewer than 45 person.
The attack also left several injured and many houses in the community razed.
Buhari, in a statement via the presidency’s twitter handle described the incident as “regrettable”, adding that he will do everything to end “the bloodletting and ensure that the criminals behind it are brought to justice.”
The statement further said that the federal government will do everything in its power to ensure the security of lives and property in Kaduna State.
It added that President Buhari has approved a new military battalion, a new Police Area Command, and two additional Divisional Police HQs, for the troubled area.
